    • April 25, 2007- It has been a while since any updates have been added to this page but I welcome you to myspace to visit my page there which has a blog that I frequently update.     • November 2, 2005 - Upcoming performance: USC Studio Guitar Faculty Concert, featuring Pat Kelley, Steve Trovato, Frank Potenza, Nick Stoubis and Dave Carpenter on bass and Kendall Kay on Drums. 7:00pm, Sunday, November 13, 2005. Alfred E. Newman Hall, USC.
    • August 7, 2005 - My music cues are still appearing regularly on the Emmy award winning daytime reality series "Starting Over." Along with this show, my music can be heard on the TBS television show "Minding the Store" and has also appeared on "Circumsized Cinema" on Si TV (a English/Spanish channel) and may also be heard on "Super Agent" on SPIKE.  
    • July 30, 2005 - My biography is being included for publication in the upcoming 60th Diamond Edition of Who's Who in America.
    • May 23, 2005 - MP3Tunes has me as their number 1 artist in the "World - Eastern European" chart. Check it out at http://www.mp3tunes.com/. The album has also been floating around their top ten.
    • November 12, 2004 - The songs "Tabla" and "Ena Dromo Mazi" have been receiving daily airplay on Village 900 CKMO in Victoria, BC, Canada.

    • November 12, 2004 - "Elpida" is currently number 9 on the Radio Akropolis top 40. Requests can be made by email at voyagers@aci.on.ca. I was informed that this is the fourth track from the CD on their top 40. Here is a list of the peak positions for the four singles: "Tabla" number 2, "Elpida" number 9, "Fragosyriani" number 24, "Ta Matoklada Sou Lampoun" number 35.
    • September 12, 2004 - I recently recorded some bouzouki parts for an independent film that my good friend Bryan Clark has written the score for.
    • August 12, 2004 - "Elpida" moved up from number 26 to 21 on the Radio Akropolis top 40 (week of August 2 - August 7). 
    • August 10, 2004 - I just returned to L.A. from Toronto  where I played with the group Arkadia at the Taste of Danforth Festival  (August 5-8). We played a number of shows including a couple performances on the main stage, one of them just before Pavlo on Saturday evening. Along with the shows, a couple members of Arkadia and I did a live interview on CFRB 1010 AM (Toronto) on Saturday and also performed live during the interview. The whole weekend was just a blast and I had an amazing time. I also had the opportunity to meet many wonderful people and look forward to returning again in the future.
    • August 6, 2004 - "Elpida" moved up from number 40 to 26 on the Radio Akropolis top 40 (week of July 26 - August 1).

    • July 26, 2004 - "Elpida" just entered the Radio Akropolis top 40 at number 40 (week of July 19-25). This is the third single off MOSAIC to find its way onto the Radio Akropolis top 40.
    • July 26, 2004 - This upcoming month I will be doing some shows with the group Arkadia at the Taste of Danforth festival in Toronto, Canada (August 6-8). It is expected that over one million people will be attending this annual event over the three day period and should proove to be a great deal of fun.
    • July 20, 2004 - EMI - Canada has just released a compilation CD called: "The Best Greek Album Ever" that has Arkadia's song "Patrida" on it. I played bouzouki on this track. Conratulations to them.

    • June 7, 2004 - I have just returned to Los Angeles after spending a week in Canada. I spent a few nights performing with the group Arkadia at the MOSAIC festival in Regina, Saskatchewan (a two hour drive from my hometown of Yorkton). I had a wonderful time and met a number of great people from Regina while I was there. I also had the chance to spend time with many family members who got to attend the performances. Many thanks to the group Arkadia, the community of Regina and all my family who made the trip to see the shows.

    • May 28, 2004 - I will be back in Canada doing some shows in the upcoming week in Regina, Saskatchewan with the group Arkadia. The shows will be June 3, 4 and 5 and will be part of the MOSAIC multicultural festival that is held in Regina every year.
    • May 23, 2004 - The CBC program "Roots and Wings," hosted by Philly Markowitz played the track "Zeibekiko" on the program. Roots & Wings is heard on Sunday afternoons across Canada on CBC Radio Two.

    • May 18, 2004 - "Fragosyriani" moved down back to number 40 on the Radio Akropolis top 40 (week of May 10-May 16). 
    • May 13, 2004 - "Fragosyriani" moved up from number 29 to 24 on the Radio Akropolis top 40 (week of May 2-May 9).

    • May 6, 2004 - "USC Trojan Family" magazine included MOSAIC in the Summer, 2004 edition of the magazine in its "What's New" section. Go to the bottom of this page to take a look.
    • May 2, 2004 - "Fragosyriani" moved up from number 39 to 29 on the Radio Akropolis top 40 (week of April 27-May 1). This is the second single off of MOSAIC to be in their top 40.
    • April 27, 2004 - Some music I have written is being used on network television during this month (NBC/CBS). Songwriter Robin Randall and I have collaborated on some cues that have been playing on the NBC reality show "Starting Over." They have been appearing quite often (I even heard one myself). Also, the CBS movie of the week: "The Book of Ruth" will be airing on Sunday, May 2 at 9:00. This film has a few pieces of mine that were licensed.
    • April 25, 2004 - "Fragosyriani" just entered the Radio Akropolis top 40 at number 39 (week of April 19-25). "Tabla" has just exited off the top 40 in the last week, peaking at number 2 and spending a total of 12 weeks on the chart (entering back on Feb. 1).
    • April 18, 2004 - CHSR 97.9 FM (Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada) is playing MOSAIC in medium rotation.

    • March 22, 2004 - "Tabla" is now number 2 on the Radio Akropolis top 40 chart (week of Mar. 15-21). 
    • March 22, 2004 - I just returned from The Greek/Canadian Music Awards that were held in Toronto, Canada on the weekend. I was nominated for three awards: "Best Instrumental Album," "Best Instrumental Song" and "Best Newcomer" of which I was awarded the "Best Instrumental Song" award for the song "Tabla." I performed twice at the ceremonies, playing "Tabla" and "Ta Matoklada Sou Lampoun." The weekend was a blast and was really enjoyable.  
    • March 15, 2004 - Well-known Canadian columnist, writer and humorist Bill Richardson taped an interview with me this afternoon for his radio show, Richardson's Roundup. The show will air on CBC radio in Canada nationally and will be available coast to coast Tuesday, March 17 at 2:00 pm. It was a lot of fun and Bill was a pleasure to talk to. The interview can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.
    • March 15, 2004 - Sheila Coles, host of "The Morning Edition," - CBC (Regina) interviewed me this morning for a segment on her show that will air Thursday, March 18 sometime between 7:30-8:15 am.
    • March 14, 2004 - "Tabla" is now at number 5 on the Radio Akropolis top 40 chart (week of Mar. 8-14). 
    • March 14, 2004 - Radio Akropolis officially listed the nominations for the Greek/Canadian Music Awards being held this next Sunday (March 21). "Tabla" has been nominated for "Best Instrumental of the Year" and I have been nominated for "Best Newcomer of the Year."

The group Arkadia and their recording "Seismos" (I can be heard playing bouzouki and guitar on several cuts on the CD) have been nominated for five awards, including "Best Album of the Year," "Best Group of the Year," and their song "Patritha," which I was featured on the bouzouki for "Best Song of the Year," "Best Lyrics of the Year," and "Best Supporting Vocals." Congratulations to them!

    • March 7, 2004 - "Tabla" moved up to number 11 on the Radio Akropolis top 40 chart (week of Mar. 1-7).
    • March 1, 2004 - Shawna Stone just launched her new website (www.shawnastone.net). We also met this past weekend to continue working on new material for a future CD release. The material is coming along very well and I am really looking forward to composing new pieces in the months to come. Look for Shawna in FHM Magazine (http://www.fhm.com) this March 11th.

    • February 27, 2004 - I was interviewed by CFMB 1280 AM - Montreal on Friday night for a radio show hosted by Anastasia Panayotou. The interview can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.

    • February 23, 2004 - "Tabla" moved up 4 spots to number 17 on the Radio Akropolis top 40 chart (week of Feb. 16-23). You can request the song by email at voyagers@aci.on.ca or by telephone at 416 463 4607 if you are in the Toronto area.
    • February 20, 2004 - "MOSAIC" found its way to number 8 on the individual World/Folk Album Charts for CFCR 90.5 FM (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada) for the week ending February 20. This was reported by http://www.chartattack.com. The request line at KFCR is (306) 242-5002.

    • February 16, 2004 - Radio Akropolis notified me that I have been nominated for an award at their annual "GREEK/CANADIAN MUSIC AWARDS." I am accepting the nomination and will be attending the ceremony on March 21 in Toronto, Canada.
    • February 16, 2004 - Today Robin Randall and I wrote and submitted more cues for the NBC reality show "Starting Over."
    • February 15, 2004 - "Tabla" moved up 16 spots to number 21 on the Radio Akropolis chart (week of Feb. 8-15).
    • February 12, 2004 - Today myself and writing partner, Rick Schmunk have signed a publishing agreement with the KENDALL/HUNT Publishing Company to publish our instructional guitar method text. Keep posted in the next few months for more details.

    • February 11, 2004 - I have been collaborating with songwriter Robin Randall for music for the NBC hit daytime reality series "Starting Over." Music that we have written should be appearing on upcoming episodes. The show airs on NBC at 12:00, Monday-Friday.
    • February 8, 2004 - "Tabla" has entered the chart at number 37 on Radio Akropolis (week of Feb. 1-7). Keep voting for the song by email at voyagers@aci.on.ca or if you are in the Toronto area by telephone at 416 463 4607.

    • February 3, 2004 - MOSAIC is officially released nationally through Artist1Stop distribution. The CD will be available at all the major online retailers and available in stores throughout the United States. Also, AMG (All Music Guide) has a listing for the CD as well as Nick Stoubis as an artist.
    • January 27, 2004 - The song "Tabla" is in heavy rotation on Radio Akropolis in Toronto. A few other songs from the CD are in light rotation at the same time as well. To listen to the station online, go to their website (http://www.radioakropolis.com) and follow the instructions on the home page.

    • January 23, 2004 - This morning I taped a radio interview for a program called "Oasis" hosted by  Dimitrios Gatsiounis on COSMOS FM on WNYE 91.5 (New York). The program will feature cuts from the new CD and a discussion session with myself and the host of the program and will last 30 minutes. The interview will air this Monday (January 26, 2004) on 91.5 in New York city. Those of you in New York will be able to hear the program at 7:00 pm, while the rest of you will be able to hear it by going to the station's website at: http://www.gaepis.org a few hours later. You can access the show by clicking on the "program archive" link on the station's home page or by clicking here (the interview will appear after the news for the day). The program will be available to download to your computer the evening of Monday, January 26th. (The interview can now be downloaded at the bottom of this page)

    • January 17, 2004 - The NAMM trade show is going on this weekend in Anaheim, CA. I will playing guitar at the convention for the Plek booth this Saturday. For more information on this wonderful technology, go to: http://www.frettek.com/.
    • January 3, 2004 - I have been on vacation in Canada for the last couple weeks over the holidays and have been getting many emails about the new CD. I am happy to be hearing from many old friends. While I have been home, a full-page story was written about me and the new CD for the December 31st edition of my home town's newspaper, "The Yorkton This Week." 
    • December 15, 2003 - The new Greek disc (Mosaic: The Music of Greece) is finally completed and should be available to purchase online by the end of the week. 
    • December 4, 2003 - I just licensed three original compositions and recordings to a CBS movie of the week entitled "The Book of Ruth." This movie will air sometime in the new year.
    • December 1, 2003 - I am completing many lessons for a new guitar online educational website. To date I have written about 40 lessons that will be featured and will continue to write more after the website is launched.
    • November 26, 2003 - Proofs for the new CD graphics have been approved and resubmitted to Groove House Records to begin manufacturing the cd.

    • November 21, 2003 - I just went to have the new release mastered by John Vestman in Westminster, CA. John did a great job and I am very happy with the outcome of the mastering session.

    • October 7, 2003 - I just went into the studio with singer songwriter Eleni Kelakos and recorded a track on bouzouki for her new upcoming release.
